Climate Resilience

With the increased risk of disaster brought about by human activity, we are responding to this moment by increasing connection with our neighbors and our communities. This connection gives rise to hope and imagination toward a vision of peace. Together, with leaders across the region, we're asking, 'What if we could withstand, respond to, and strongly recover from the challenges ahead, together?'

Our lens

We adopt a multidimensional, intersectional approach to climate resilience that names the realities of compounding systems of oppression and marginalization that impact the ability of all creation to, as Leah Thomas writes, “not only survive, but also thrive in liberation and joy”.

Let's work together

The invitation: Join a Design Table

In 2025 we are gathering a table of faith communities in Southwestern Washington who are participating in the work of climate resilience in their own contexts and are interested in becoming hubs of climate resilience in their communities. This Design Table will be a community of practice where leaders learn from one another, share resources, and build collective power with accompaniment from technical experts and mentors.
